www.footytrivia.com (from hereon known as “the site”) is designed to be used by people who like football trivia and/or want to buy and sell football related memorabilia and/or find or advertise a good pub to watch football in, and/or want to chat via a chatroom to other like minded individuals.

Certain areas of the site are available to anyone and some to members only.

Flash Game:

Anyone accessing the site can use the flash penalty shootout game free of charge.

Ask Footy:

This is available to all members free of charge. Members can post a question to the management of the site. If a similar question has been asked and answered before, anyone, including non-members will be able to see the question and answer. If a similar question has not been asked before, the management of the site will attempt to answer it. If the management of the site cannot answer the question it will be put into the Footy Forum for other members to try and answer.

The management of the site reserve the right to withhold answers to any questions which they see as contravening the spirit of the site, as decided by the management of the site. See section on Footy Forum below for possible views which may be seen as contravening the spirit of the site.

Competition Question:

To answer our Competition Question:

Anyone can view the competition question. Only members can submit answer(s) to the competition question and stand a chance of winning the displayed prize(s). Any member submitting an answer will need to pay a charge from their FootyTrivia.com account. The site reserves the right to change these charges for different competitions. Once a charge is set for one competition, it will be honoured for the duration of that competition. Charge(s) will always be displayed before members agree to submit their answer(s). If there are insufficient funds in the member’s FootyTrivia.com member account, then the answer will not be submitted until such time as sufficient funds are deposited. The site reserves the right to change prizes for different competition questions.

Only correct answers can win the prize. All correct answers win 3 points on our leaderboard. The member who is top of the leaderboard at the designated date wins the prize on offer.
A member can enter as many times as they want except in the case of limited entries competitions when only a specific number of entries will be accepted. Anyone trying to submit an entry after the competition has closed will not be able to and will not be charged.

To submit a Competition Question:

Only members can submit a Competition Question. A member can submit a question at any time.
If a user submitted question is selected for use by the site, the user is given recognition by the site and may be entitled to win prize(s) depending on the rules stated below. These rules can be changed at any time. Any previously selected questions are subject to the rules in place when they were submitted and these rules will be honoured, even if subsequent rule changes occur.

All questions not selected for The Question can be used and reproduced by the site and any affiliates, for whatever reason, without financial or intellectual property gain of the originator.

Footy Forum:

You must be a member to use the Footy Forum. Any member of FootyTrivia.com can use the Footy Forum free of charge. Members can express any views or opinions which they like except those which:

Promote any extreme views or opinions which could be construed as threatening or cause distress to other members.

Advertise or promote any criminal activity of any variety.

Advertise or promote any unsavoury or adult material.

Suggest libellous accusations about any third party.

Advertise or promote any third party website(s) or facilities which have not been sanctioned by the management of the site. The management of the site must be contacted if any member wishes to advertise a third party using the footy forum,

Any views posted on the Footy Forum are solely the views of the individual who posted them and not in any way endorsed by FootyTrivia.com or any affiliate companies or websites.

Listings:

Anyone can view listings on the site free of charge.
You must be a member of the site to list an item. There are very competitive charges involved, which will be debited from your FootyTrivia.com account. These charges are displayed for you before you confirm that you want to place an advert.

To maintain the quality of service for users, we do have some rules and regulations. These are listed below.

Any person(s) or organisation(s) advertising, and any person(s) or organisation(s) purchasing an item listed on this site agree to the terms and conditions below:

Any purchase details including stated condition of, price of, delivery details of/pick up details are decided by the advertiser/seller and the customer, and are not in any way the responsibility of the site.
Any purchase details are entered into at the sole risk of the customer/seller and are not the responsibility of the site.
The site has no liability for and no control over product specific information published within an advert on this site.
Any disputes which may arise between sellers and vendors are the sole concerns of those parties and are not the responsibility of the site.
The site reserves the right to refuse business from any third parties at any time for any reason.
The site reserves the right to cancel listing for any person(s) or organisation(s) which:
• flagrantly and/or repeatedly supply false and/or misleading information about any aspects of the product(s) or service(s) they are advertising.
• are repeatedly complained about
• advertise or promote any extreme views or opinions which could be construed as threatening or cause distress to other members.
• Advertise or promote any criminal activity of any variety.
• Advertise or promote any unsavoury or adult material.
• Generally do not comply with the spirit of this website.
Refunds will be subject to specific details of why the listing was withdrawn (see our disclaimer).
If necessary, legal processes can and will be used, including the law courts and the police if the situation is deemed necessary.
Any actions taken against a member/company/organisation are down solely to the discretion of the management of the site.

Advertising/Linking:

Third parties can advertise on the site if the site agrees to carry their advertising or link. The site reserves the right to refuse to take any new advertising or links at any time.

Any adverts on the site should follow the following terms:

You must be a member of the site to list and edit details about a pub. There are very competitive charges involved. These charges are displayed for you before you confirm that you want to place an advert.
