During a somewhat heated discussion in a pub concerning a piece of
footballing trivia – and a follow-up conversation about where a fan could
get hold of a particular football matchday programme from 1997 –
FootyTrivia.com was born.
FootyTrivia.com aims to find out every piece of football
trivia known to man (and a few that aren’t!), whilst offering prizes
and fame to those who can correctly answer football trivia questions. The
site also includes an area where football memorabilia and ephemera can be
advertised for sale, giving fans the chance to find and collect that rare
piece of memorabilia they have been seeking for ages, or for others to
cash in on the pieces they still own but no longer want – knowing that they
will go to the home of another, like-minded individual.
Our site allows members to test each other's knowledge - if you can
answer the challenge question or set the next one, you could win a
fantastic prize!
There is a forum area on the site that members can use to swap opinions,
test each other’s knowledge, indulge in heated debate or enjoy a nice
cyber-cup of tea.
Anyone can play the great flash penalty shootout, whichis a game that
combines knowledge of football trivia, skill, and – like any proper
penalty shootout - a slice of luck!! It is so addictive, you could
spend all day playing it, so go ahead and enjoy!
We are in the process of building a Pub Search database – if you can’t get
tickets to the game, then you’ll want to find a decent pub to watch it in.
